About Virginia Lee, LMT
Clinical Massage Therapy for Women Seeking Long‑Term Wellness, Pain Relief, and Functional Balance
I’ve been a licensed massage therapist since 2011, working with women across Chattanooga who want more than a “feel‑good” session — they want results. Over the past 16 years, I’ve developed a deeply intuitive, clinically informed style of bodywork that blends advanced training, movement education, and thousands of hands‑on hours with clients of all ages and abilities.
I’ve supported elite athletes preparing for international competition, founded the Ironman Massage Team in Chattanooga, and trained under mentors who work with Olympic teams and develop industry‑leading techniques. My clients often tell me I’m unlike any massage therapist they’ve worked with before — and they’re right. I’m a problem‑solver. I love the cases that others couldn’t help.
If you’re looking for a practitioner who listens, adapts, and works with you to reach your goals, you’re in the right place.
My Approach
My work is grounded, therapeutic, and intentionally focused. Over the years, I’ve studied multiple modalities and integrated them into a style that’s uniquely my own. My approach is shaped by:
formal education at MMTC
mentorship under Lori‑Ann Galant‑Heilborn, a leader who has worked with the Olympic Bobsled Team and developed advanced IASTM techniques I now teach
thousands of hours working with athletes, professionals, and everyday women
continuing education across sports therapy, movement science, and structural alignment
real‑world problem‑solving with clients who bring me their most challenging issues
When I describe my work as intuitive, I’m referring to the depth of experience and tissue awareness that comes from 16 years of practice. Intuition, for me, is simply expertise made second nature.
The human body is extraordinary. It knows how to heal, adapt, and restore itself — sometimes it just needs a little guidance. My role is to help your body remember how to balance, relax, and hold.
Who I Work Best With
I work best with women who value consistency, communication, and long‑term wellness.
My practice is ideal for clients who:
want therapeutic, intentional bodywork
appreciate a grounded, professional environment
are committed to improving mobility, reducing pain, or managing stress
show up on time and respect scheduling boundaries
prefer a practitioner who blends clinical skill with intuitive care
want a problem‑solver, not a spa technician
If you’re looking for last‑minute appointments, irregular scheduling, or purely relaxation‑focused sessions, I may not be the best fit — and that’s okay. My work is structured, focused, and designed for clients who want meaningful results.

A Multidisciplinary Practice
In 2025, I opened a new office that brings physical therapy and mental health counseling under the same roof — a rare model in the massage therapy field. Massage therapists are often the ones renting space from others; I chose to build a space where multiple disciplines work together to support whole‑person wellness.
This collaborative environment allows me to refer clients to trusted professionals when needed and ensures that every woman who walks through my door receives care that is both comprehensive and deeply personalized.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside the treatment room, you’ll find me exploring the things that keep me grounded and energized:
health and nutrition
HIIT and weight training
distance running (I set a goal to run a 13.1 or 10k every month in 2022)
hiking, camping, and paddling (SUP + kayak)
road‑tripping
Mountain Biking
and yes… all things Disney
These passions shape the way I understand movement, recovery, and the rhythms of the body — and they help me bring a well‑rounded perspective to my work.
